Our first event of 2014 was the MG Car Club's Silverstone Race Meeting on the 29th March.

We had an excellent 6th in qualifying and finished 4th overall in the race!

Our next event was the Lancs & Chesh/MGCC (NW) Sprint at Anglesey Circuit held 3/4th May.

We were competing in the Modified Production Class 1600 - 2000cc and up against some fully modified saloons running very soft Avon and Dunlop Slicks.

Despite this, we were only just over 1 second off the fastest time in the class and narrowly missed setting overall fastest MG for the event over the course of the weekend

Next events:
TBC but possibly MG 90@Silverstone 21/22 June - Race Meeting on  the G.P. Circuit.

Update - Lancs & Cheshire Car Club/MG Car Club Anglesey Sprints 6/7th September.

Following on from a very near Class win in May, we have purchased a set of Avon Sprint/Hillclimb tyres with the correct type of compound for these events

RESULT! We won the class on both days, knocking over 3 seconds of our previous best time and beating the established class leaders - Stuart Tranter in his super lightweight Rover 216 on super soft Avons and Phil Caza in his new works specification Renault Clio Cup which succumbed to a blown engine on the second day after trying very hard.

NEXT EVENT: Longton & D.M.C - British Sprint Championship - Anglesey Circuit 4/5th October.

Probably our last event of the season, again at Anglesey. This is the final round of the British Sprint Championship and we ill be up against some stiff opposition in the form of Andy Larton in the works Peugeot 106 LAD , last year's LDMC Northern Speed Champion and generally the man to beat.
